Why are so many famous people dying?

Messed Up

Posted in Stuff n Junk at 7:29 PM by Amy~la

Cell phone companies make contracts that last two years. Cell phone makers make cell phones that last maybe one year if you are lucky. What does that mean? It means that my two year old phone won’t charge anymore. This is messed up. Cell phones should last as long as the contracts do.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Posted in Stuff n Junk at 3:21 AM by Amy~la

It is currently 3:17 am and I just got back from seeing Transformers. Before the movie started, these two guys wearing cardboard robot suits started play fighting. Then during the previews all the guys (there were a lot of them) booed the New Moon trailer. Now, I only have one word to describe the movie I just saw, AMAZING!!!!!! The special effects were awesome. The robots were big alien robots, do I have to say more? Shia was as cute as can be. The only problem I had with this movie was Megan Fox. But I don’t want to give away any of the plot, so I will stop talking.

Transformers comes out tomorrow! I get to go to the midnight showing tonight to go see it. It is 2 hours and 30 minutes long. That means I will get home around 2:45 to 3 am. This will be my first midnight movie. It’s going to be awesome (even if Maddy can’t come, and I’m sorry for going without you girl! You know I love you! I promise not to spoil it like you spoiled Knowing for me.)

I like Harry Potter. I like musicals. But a Harry Potter musical? Yes, there is a Harry Potter musical on YouTube. It starts here and then click on the next video in the series to see the rest.

PoA (Prizoner of Azkaban)

Here’s an interesting fact about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: in order to acquaint himself with his three lead actors, director Alfonso CuarĂ³n had each of them write an essay about their characters, from a first-person point of view. Emma Watson, in true Hermione fashion, went a little overboard and wrote a 16-page essay. Daniel Radcliffe wrote a simple one-page summary, and Rupert Grint never even turned his in.

HP Plan

Posted in Harry Potter at 2:04 AM by Amy~la

I have a plan. I will reread a Harry Potter book and then I will watch the movie. Right now I am rereading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Then I will watch that movie and go onto Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I should finish movies 1-5 and books 1-6 by the time Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince comes out.

My summer is so boring. Today only consisted of me waking up with my right arm hurting. Then I watched TV and did things on my computer. Then I posted some new MySpace pictures. Then my cat attacked me. Then I hurn my elbow. So my right arm, my right leg, and my left elbow were hurting at one point today. Now only my right arm hurts. I wonder why it hurts… Anyway, here is a picture of what my cat, Dancer, did to my leg:0610091704

Time Flies

So last night I was just on my laptop, reading funny articles about how your brain lies to you or reading about the six world-changing inventions that didn’t change anything. I was reading multiple of articles similar to these when all of a sudden I hear a door open. It was around 5:30 am and my dad had just got up. I hadn’t even gone to sleep yet! When it was 6:45 I decided to watch some TV. I was watching Angel until 8. Then I was watching The Soup and Web Soup until 9. At 9 I turned it to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when I fell asleep for about an hour. Then I changed the channel to the Disney Channel at 10. I fell asleep until 1:45 pm. And now I am watching Spongebob and I just remembered the password and username for my Twitter account.

Superheroes are Everywhere

Posted in Harry Potter, Stuff n Junk, Superheroes at 12:00 AM by Amy~la

No matter what type of book I read, a superhero is almost always mentioned. I was reading a vampire book and the girl compared her boyfriend to Clark Kent. I was reading a magic book and there was another Superman reference. (That magic book also referenced Harry Potter by saying the girl’s mom didn’t let her read the Harry Potter books.) Right now I am reading a book that could actually happen. There are no vampires and no magic. There is only a car crash that changes the main character’s life. In this book, the boyfriend of the main character says, “Time to activate the Bat Signal.” That, of course, is a reference to Batman. Can’t I get through one book where they don’t mention a superhero? Dang it. I was going to pick up Twilight to get away from the superheroes, but then I remembered the whole “I’ve considered radio-active spiders and kryptonite.”

Johnny B. Goode

Posted in Music, Stuff n Junk at 7:54 PM by Amy~la

Tonight was the night that my church said goodbye to our preacher, John. (He is being moved to another place in Georgia.) In order to say goodbye, many members of the church got up and talked about John. The music director sang a song for him. J, the music director, changed the words to the song Johnny B. Goode to fit the situation for our church. He was actually pretty good, and he was playing the guitar too. The part with the guitar solo, my parents pulled out their lighters and did the whole “lighter moving to the music” thing. EVERYONE in the church turned around to see it, even John! It was so funny, and my sister was trying to hide because they were embarrassing her. I actually thought it was pretty funny.
